NEW IN | FEB 14'

Watch // ASOS £20  |   Leather Jacket // H&M £29.99  |   Jersey // TOPMAN (sale) £12  |  Nike Roshe Run

This month I've managed to accumulate quite a few black things (no surprise there), no matter how much I try to stay away from the shade I just seem to end up getting more and more of it. Don't get me wrong, black is such a classic shade, any way you wear it you will always look good, but I really need to try and break free from my safe zone and explore more colours and patterns!

BACK TO THE 90's

JUMPER // VINTAGE   |   JEANS // NEWLOOK   |   BAG // H&M   |   BOOTS // MISSGUIDED

Heyy guys, look at me being regular with my blog posts, I hope I haven't jinxed it now! Blogging is my way of getting away from everyday life and having a break from doing school work (after this I have to get stuck into biology great!).

Anyway back to my outfit, I wore this jumper the other day and it brought back memories from my childhood in the 90's. I remember my mum always putting me in turtle neck tops, and I remember hating them because they made my neck itch, but I really love this one . It's a vintage piece that I kindly received from an old family friend, it's so unique and I love the fact that if I walk down the street, I wont see 10 other people with the same jumper on!

Who else has read that we're apparently having 100 days of snow this year in England? I for one am NOT happy at all. Yeaah Yeaah, snow is pretty, but it's such a pain in the ass as well! I'm really hoping that they've made a mistake or something because I'm really not feeling walking in slush for 100 days.

RECENT PURCHASES #1

1// Motel Fiji Bodycon Dress  |  2// Ark Cream Mohair Jumper  |  3// Ebay 3D Rose Jumper  |  4// Ebay zip detail boots

As autumn/winter is upon us, I've decided to slowly start raking in the A/W clothes and shoes. I'm not one to go out for big shops with 5 bags in each hand filled to the brim with clothes and shoes because it makes me feel bad for spending all that money. But I'm the type to buy 1 or 2 items whenever I do go out (although I do go a little crazy online shopping)

1//  The dress I managed to snap up in the MotelRocks sale for just £10 (although now £20), and it fits like a glove, I absolutely love the pattern on it.

2//  I'm absolutely in love with the furry jumpers/cardigans that the shops are having recently, they are so soft and so lovely looking on. I found this cream one in ARK for about £26, and I'm still on the hunt for a black jumper & cardigan version to build up my collection like this and this.

3//  I absolutely adore this 3D rose jumper I found on eBay, it is slightly cropped which I love and it just looks amazing on. It took forever to get posted to me though, that's one of the downfalls of ordering things from a Chinese seller, but the jumper was definitely worth the wait.

4//  I've bought yet another pair of black boots (and definitely not the last) from eBay for £16.99. I have a very similar pair which has gold studs on the back, but I wanted something simpler and newer so I purchased these. I managed to get them in a size too big, but due to my laziness I cannot be bothered to exchange them hehe

AUTUMN

TOP // FOREVER21   |   JEANS // ARK   |   NECKLACE  // PRIMARK   |   CUT-OUT BOOTS  //  TOPSHOP VIA NEXT2NOWT   |   BAG  // MATALAN

I have always loved basics with a passion, and this outfit is just an example of how I style my basics. I bought this beautiful box-shaped top from Forever21 as I thought it would the perfect item to dress up and dress down. I paired it with some standard blue jeans from ARK which I recently purchased in the sale for just £5 (crazy I know), and my cut out boots which quite frankly I don't wear near enough as much as I should.

This year I am really enjoying autumn, although it is getting colder and wetter, I'm really loving autumn fashion. Layering + jackets + boots = ♥

Plus who else has seen the new TLC movie CrazySexyCool ? I watched it the other day and it was such an amazing yet emotional film. To watch how they came together as a group and what happened during their lives was just so fascinating. It really brought me back in touch with the 90's as I just found that I remembered all the songs they sang throughout the movie! Its definitely a must watch!

UPDATE || M.I.A

Hello Strangers, do you remember me?
It seems like my last posts have had this same or very similar start as I always seem to just disappear off the face of the earth for a while.

Its been a good 3 months now that I haven't posted, and in my opinion there is a very good reason for that. SIXTH FORM. My life has yet again been taken over by school work, and seeing as it is my last year of A levels, I've been trying to put in the extra work as this year literally determines my future.

I really have been missing the blog and youtube world, and I really want to continue being a part of it. But I refuse to make promises I know I wont keep. I've decided that throughout the year I will continue blogging whenever I get the chance. But when it comes to youtube I think I'm going to have to take a break. Video making takes a lot more time, and although I enjoy it, quite frankly I don't have the time on my hands.

I do hope you all continue to read my blog. I should have some Autumn inspired outfits posted soon!

ORLANDO FLORIDA

Beautiful sunset taken while driving down the highway // had an obsession with choc chip waffles //  made some best friends (aren't the croc heads cute!) // some flamingos I saw at Seaworld // chillin by the pool // had the nicest teriyaki chicken at the mall // visited universal studios which was amazing // taking pictures in the bathroom // the nicest bathroom I've ever seen

Hey guys I'm back from holiday! It's been exactly a week now that I've been back from the states, and I miss it so so much. I snapped lots of pictures while I was out so i decided to share some with you so you guys can have a little glimpse into my holiday!

I stayed out in Orlando Florida for two weeks, the weather was beautiful apart from the occasional thunder/lightning storms that occurred for 5 minutes and then stopped. I shopped lots at malls and outlets, I went to water parks, theme parks and just generally soaked up the sun while I was there.

But now its back to school ... queue sarcastic cheer... back to reality, back to hard work. The holidays are just not long enough!

DIY | FLORAL

SHORTS \\ DIY   |   TOP \\ MISSGUIDED

Its been a while since I've brought out my mum's sewing machine and gotten creative. I've always been too busy with school or work to even begin to think of what to make, but seeing as its now the holidays, I've got plenty of time...
(so I say... I'm beginning to realise that these summer holidays are not long enough, they're literally flying past).

Two nights ago at around 11 pm I had a little light bulb go off in my head, and I grabbed this floral fabric which I've had lying around in my room and got scissor happy. I've never actually made any type of trouser/short before because I don't own any cutting patterns and usually trousers/shorts are really hard to make, but I just went for it free hand anyway. Surprisingly they came out quite well, there are a few areas for improvement, but overall I'm pretty happy with them.
