Remember me? I'd be surprised if you did! What have i been up to during this absence from my blog?

- I've been going to sixth form (it's major stress)

- I've been revising and doing non stop school work

- I went to Portugal for a week (nice to get out of the cold British weather)

- I've been stalking people's 'London Fashion Week' blogposts 

- Reading books

- Sleeping when i can

- Buying some spring items

Not exactly the most interesting of lives, but I'm getting through it! 

I find that the monochrome trend fits perfectly for me seeing as the majority of the time I'm wearing black, white or different shades of the two colours!! I'm really excited to buy some spotty tops which fit right into the trend from Topshop! While we're on the subject of Topshop, how good are their collection this season! I really just want to buy everything from in there, but I've put myself on a mini spending ban so i can buy a new camera (yay) so hopefully I won't be buying anything soon!

Anyway, I hope to post soon, and i hope you have a fantastic week ahead! 

I'm praying that since its the beginning of march, hopefully the sun will show its face ASAP!

Men's Flannel

Hey everyone, how has your week been? Happy first day of the month!!  In this outfit I'm actually wearing a men's shirt which was bought from H&M! I've noticed that I tend to prefer wearing men's clothing around the colder months, especially jumpers as they are so comfy and oversized.

I've been thinking recently that I've been blogging for a bit over a year now, and I've been making youtube videos for about 3 years now which is crazy. I've grown quite a bit over the years (not in height), but I think I want to go a step further and buy a better quality camera to improve my pictures and videos! I've started saving my money already and I'm going to put quite a few things on eBay to raise some money, but I'm not sure on what kind of camera to get! DSLR's look great and take great pictures and videos, but they are such huge things so I was thinking of getting a digital interchangeable lens camera which is compact but still has great picture quality, I'm not sure on how good the video quality is though. 

It's so difficult deciding on things like this, so i might have to physically go into a store to weigh out my options. Your opinions are welcome as well, I need all the help I can get!

Today I thought I'd go really casual with my outfit as I always do! You can maybe tell that I love this Skirt a lot seeing as my past OOTD incorporated this skirt, but the truth is that this is the first time in a while since I've picked it up and worn it. I've been a leggings and jeggings kind of girl this summer! Comfort is everything to me!! Oasap also kindly sent me this spiked hair band which originally looked like this, but I DIY'd it slightly to make it look like a regular spiked hair band and I now love it! Spikes have been really in trend for a couple of months now, with spikes on shoes, bags, levi shorts ect. I love spikes myself but i feel like the shops are literally putting spikes on all of their garments and its starting to look a little tacky! I like to subtly wear spikes not wear top to toe spikes, but each to their own.

CHANGES

As you can maybe (hopefully) tell, my blog has changed slightly again! My title has changed and I've tweaked other little things too. Not only has that changed, but I have a different idea for my blog. I don't see myself as the most fashionable trendy person you'll find. Don't get me wrong I love fashion and I would love to blog about it all the time, but quite frankly I'm not as good as other fashion bloggers. So from now on I wont only be posting OOTD's but other little bits and bobs too. I hope you guys don't mind too much!

UPDATE

I'm so sorry for being MIA for soo long! After going on holiday I just couldn't be bothered to blog and make videos for a while. I just had no inspiration or ideas and I just couldn't be bothered. I also FINALLY got a job which i've stared and i'm really happy with, I can finally afford to buy more clothes haha. That explains my long absence! Last Thursday I got my GCSE results which I was so happy with (4A*'s 6A's & 4B's) I wish I worked a little harder to get more A*'s but I'm so happy nonetheless! Sixth form starts next week which I'm excited but nervous about! I'm aiming for A's all round next year so I've got to work really hard! I'm going sixth form shopping this weekend which I'm so excited for, so expect a haul post (hopefully!).

THE FUN

Prom has been one of my highlights of the year, the shopping, the dressing up and the actual prom! It was soo much fun dancing with all of my girls and just having a good time. I honestly cannot stress enough how amazing it was, and if you get a chance to go to prom, snap it up quickly!! Its just too good to miss out on!

Sunny Sunday

this is really just a pointless post of me in the sun! I've had 6 exams so far and I've got 5 more to go! I go on study leave this Thursday so this week is officially my last week :( The leavers assembly is going to be so emotional! Anyway i hope everyone is enjoying the sun (i've been stuck in doors revising :( ) and i'll hopefully have some better posts up soon!! xxx

1. I managed to snap a few pictures of my outfit in the rare spell of sunshine, the weather in England is so unreliable and so unpredictable its getting really annoying. Its so hard to dress up in the morning because you don't know whether to wear a coat or not, but I have resorted to taking my umbrella with me everywhere and a jacket, I hate getting caught in the rain without an umbrella especially because I literally walk everywhere, and to get caught in a flash rain/wind storm would be horrible. 

Anyway today's outfit is quite girly for me, i don't usually wear skirts, in fact i can't remember the last time i actually wore a skirt i always wear leggings, jeans, jeggings or shorts. But its nice to have a change! I actually got this skirt as a birthday gift from one of my friends, its soo lovely i reckon I'll wear it all the time!

2. So it was my birthday last week Thursday! I turned the big 16 yaaaay :) Unfortunately i was at school, but i still had a great day all the same with my friends. My friends came round yesterday as well and we ate LOADS of food, danced, sang off tune and just did all the usual things. It was sooo much fun i just had a great time. And i got such lovely gifts as well which i am sooo grateful for! THANK YOUU X

Update:
- I have pretty serious exams coming up in the next three week so my posts will be very irregular and there wont be very many which i am soo sorry about but i've really got to revise, I'm aiming for a's and a*'s so i need to do a lot of work. Post will become a lot more regular towards June when i am on my study leave and when i have less exams! Youtube videos will also be put to a halt for now which i am so sorry about to! Hopefully you guys can bear with me and stay following/subscribed :)

Yesterday I went out with my mum as she's been scouting for a coat to buy. We managed to do so much yesterday in such a short space of time, but it was lovely just chatting away with my mum about everything! Anyway, for a while now I've been wanting to build my bag collection slightly and I've needed a smallish bag for a while, because all of the ones I own are really big! So when I saw this I thought I would get it. My mum tried to persuade me to get a different one as she thinks i won't use this one, but i reckon i will. The colour is so nice, and seeing as i wear such dark clothing these days, it should brighten up my outfit! 

I also bought my first ever pair of fake eyelashes for £3 which in my books is quite cheap. Now I've never in my life worn fake eyelashes and I'm praying that I don't look like an absolute tart when I do wear them, but I just wanted to try them out! I also got myself a vanilla scented candle from IKEA which just smells divine and I can't wait to burn it!

Yesterday I went to the library and got some books (which I don't do very often). These included these in the picture which are both by Malorie Blackman. One of them is called 'Noughts and Crosses' and the other is called 'Double Cross'. I started reading 'Noughts and Crosses' last night and I'm already quite far in, it's just so interesting. My aim is to try and read both books this half term, which hopefully I will do!

I'm sure everyone has heard the devastating news about Whitney Houston's death. I found out this morning through Twitter and I was absolutely shocked. She was only 48!! My heart goes to all her family, RIP Whitney.
